Hi folks,

Guess what? I have some Doctor Who news and a trailer…..

Steven Moffat has recently revealed that six episodes of Doctor Who will air in 2012 (probably september), with Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) and Arthur Darvill (Rory Williams) both departing in the fifth episode. New companion Jenna-Louise Coleman (from Waterloo road), will then join the show in this year’s Christmas special. Eight more episodes will then continue in 2013 as part of the seventh series. Then it is rumoured there will 2 1 hour specials planned for the end of 2013 to celebrate the shows 50th anniversary.  River Song is set to make an appearance in the series somewhere along the line.

Speaking about the upcoming debut, Jenna-Louise Coleman told viewers to expect “lots of secrets and intrigue” from her alter ego. “I know what my introduction is,” she told “Doctor Who” Magazine. “It sounds really interesting, really exciting. I don’t think anything’s been done like it before, but there are lots of secrets and intrigue, and I think it’s going to throw and confuse a lot of people, and surprise a lot of people”.

There has been a lot of rumour and speculation about what is going to happen in the series. This includes the weeping Angels in one episode, a cyborg in the wild west in another and also appearance of  couple of Daleks. Well more than a couple! In fact in one episode of the new series it is rumoured there will apparently be lots of Daleks, one from every era of the show. How exciting is that if that happens :).

I will keep you updated as soon as I get more news.

Anyway, here is a sneak preview of the new series….

I can’t wait…..
